The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed second-year guard Marcus Georges-Hunt the team have announced, the terms of the deal have yet to be revealed.

The Timberwolves have been very active so far this off-season. Adding All-Star Jimmy Butler along with some veterans to help take this team to the next level. With that being said, this signing is the opposite of those prior. Georges-Hunt is a young, promising guard who will more than likely spend most of his season in the G-League.

Last season, Georges-Hunt averaged 15.8 points, 4.5 assists, and 6.2 rebounds per game in the G-League. A solid season that named him to the All-NBA G-League third team. He still may need a few more seasons before he can transition to the NBA but, Marcus Georges-Hunt down the road could be a solid piece for this Timberwolves roster.
