Just a short day ago, Greivis Vasquez said in an interview that he would like to suit up for the Washington Wizards come October. Vasquez isn’t the only one that wants to hop on the bandwagon.

Will Barton recently stated that he would like to play for his hometown Wizards in an interview and he surely fits the bill for that team. Washington will be in search of back-ups for John Wall and Bradley Beal this summer but Barton still has one year left on his current contract.

Barton has spent the last three season with the Denver Nuggets, coming off a season where he averaged 28 minutes, 13 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds per game.

The Wizards aren’t going to have much cap space but if guys like Vasquez and Barton are willing to take pay-cuts, the Wizards could very well find themselves right where they left off this season, but with a possibility to take it a step further.
